new productsTesa Adds New Silicone Tapes to Line-Up!Company officials of tesa tape, inc., an affiliate of tesa SE, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, recently introduced two new specialty products with silicone adhesive systems designed for temporary masking applications. These new products – tesa® 50650 and tesa® 50600 – join the company’s extensive masking product line which ranges from general-purpose to highly-specialized masking tapes.The Perfect Mask! tesa® 50650 and tesa® 50600 were developed with specialty masking and holding applications in mind. Constructed of a durable polyester film backing coated with a distinctive silicone adhesive, tesa® 50650 and tesa® 50600 are designed to perform well in harsh and demanding conditions, including withstanding temperatures of up to 428 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 30 minutes! The resilient polyester backing is resistant to abrasions, as well as to chemical and thermal elements, and the tapes’ clean-and-crisp edges produce remarkably sharp paint lines. Coupled with the polyester backing, the silicone adhesive provides a delicate balance between the right adhesion power for the job and clean, residue-free removal upon job completion. The characteristics of tesa® 50650 and tesa® 50600 make them ideal masking and temporary holding solutions for demanding applications, such as: masking during powder coating applications, composite bonding, protection and removal of epoxies during bonding processes, temporarily joining layers of film and fabric during composite manufacturing, and more.
